Obstetrics Science Committee
In 2008, the KNOV installed the Obstetrics Science Committee. This Committee aims to promote the scientific substantiation of first line obstetrics.

Obstetrics Knowledge Gateway
The Cooperating Obstetrician Training Programmes (SOV) has developed the internet platform Obstetrics Knowledge Gateway for anyone who is autonomously and professionally active in the field of obstetrics in the Netherlands: (trainee) obstetricians, (trainee) gynaecologists, (trainee) general practitioners active in obstetrics and lecturers and researchers in educational and research institutes.

Obstetric consortium
All ten perinatologic centres in the Netherlands and around thirty hospitals participate in the Research Consortium for Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Fertility and Neonatology. Thanks to the cooperation, large number of patients can be involved in uniform studies.
